Megan de Graaf is a mixed farm and woodlot owner in Harper Settlement, NB. When she talks about her passion for fibre, she usually describes herself as a knitter and spinner with some basic weaving skills. She finds it really gratifying to create something that is warm, useful, and beautiful, and so tends to gravitate towards knitting thick woollens, often as fingerless mitts, sweaters, and cowls. She also loves to spin very fine yarn and to knit Estonian-style lace shawls, and she has a slowly-progressing embroidered crazy quilt project. On her homestead, one of her next priorities is to get a couple of cashmere goats.
