Sarah Glinz is a mum to two little ones and a shepherdess to a small flock of Shetland sheep in Sussex, New Brunswick. A knitter first, she has more recently taken up hand-spinning and dyeing, and occasionally dabbles in felting and weaving. Sarah creates beautiful handspun yarn and knitted items from her beloved flock of Shetlands and other fibres produced in Atlantic Canada. Her Shetlands are raised purely for their fibre, not meat, and will live out their days as ‘pets with benefits’.  She especially enjoys playing with colour in stranded knitting such as Fair Isle and other traditional designs from the Shetland Islands, and Scandinavian and Icelandic cultures.
