Sharon Chase lives with her family on their farm in Cornhill, NB. Sharon began knitting at age five, and started with making clothes for her dolls, then moved on to hats and sweaters. Sharon became a more serious production knitter about 20 years ago when they started raising sheep on the farm. Following themes that she learned from her Irish grandmother, Sharon’s specialty for many years has been stranded women’s slipper socks, and old-fashioned men’s work socks, made from Briggs & Little wool. She finds it  very gratifying when she sees someone wearing and enjoying something that she knit.
